Kindergarten Testing

Strike a Pose!

I had to convince the Violinist that she did not have to put her hand on her hip and pop her knee to be cute. Can we say attitude. I just can't wait to see what picture day is like. She already had a picture smile...I don't remember being that young when I worried about my picture smile...I was at least twelve before I looked in the mirror to check out how dorky I would be on picture day!
Anyway, I digress. The Violinist did her kindergarten testing on the first week of school and she aced it of course. (and I didn't even send her to preschool) I was listening to Dr. Laura one day while I was deciding weather or not to send her, and she said she didn't think it was necessary. Really she's right. Why do we spend so much money for someone to teach them letters, colors, shapes and rhyming. It really wasn't that hard and I don't think I'll ever waste money on it again. We get so little time with our kids, why not cherish it while we can!
