I know what you are thinking....
Its been a while!
Sorry for the long absence folks, but life just got crazy for a while. After recuperating because of the holidays (doesn't everyone need a couple of weeks to do that?) we started building storage cabnets for my basement. I'm saying we in the most liberal terms. All of the building was done by my loving husband and awesome Father-in-law. It has taken about 3 1/2 weeks to fininsh them...and they look beautiful (I'll post a picture when they're all done). I'm just putting the last coat of polyurethane on (and yes I did have to get the can just to figure out how to spell polyurethane).
Along with that... The Cellist tried out for a play called Honk Jr. and got the role of the Ugly Duckling's brother, Billy. He has been quacking ever since...literally. So that is one more thing for me to run him to. Rehersals are pretty intense and long, three days a week, two hour sessions. But, he is really loving it (yes I know you shouldn't start a sentance with BUT).
The Cellist also did his very first cello recital. He was so awesome. His teacher said it was the best one she has ever been to...way to go bud.
The girls are just up to the same old things. The Musician got the tiniest violin for Christmas, and she is loving practicing.
I'd better go....time to go get the kids from school....and let the race begin!
