I had a wonderful birthday this year...my husband was even there! Usually the Composer has a concert, or test, or lecture, or something else he has to do on my birthday, so having him around was the best present ever.
Birthday's are never really the same once you leave the nest, but this year was wonderful. My son woke-up early, snuck upstairs, quietly woke his sisters (of course I heard everything, but that just made it more adorable), brought them into my room and started singing "Happy Birthday to you".
How could you not have a happy birthday after that...the presents and calls from siblings were just the icing on the cake! A friend in my ward made me the most fabulous chocolate cake with cream filling (yes I'm drooling again just writing about it). Needless to say it was delicious, and I didn't lose any weight that week!

It was so fun to celebrate your day with you! Thanks for sharing cake. Also, I needed a good belly laugh. I don't think any of us will ever look at horses the same:)
