A Few Crazy Weeks

Well, it has been a wild ride through October...I can't believe it's over. We had family in town again...we surprised our parents with a 60th Birthday party...well, we didn't really surprise them, but we tried to.

We had a tea party...

We also had lots of fun playing at the Discovery Gateway with them.

My favorite part was when the Cellist came into the (pretend) house and said, "I'm going to go to work now." Then he walked over to the market, put on an apron and started checking people out with the register. One girl came through with her basket full of goodies, the cellist checked one loaf of bread "okay, seventy-five dollars and the rest is free." (That is how I feel when I go to the store and groceries are so expensive.)

One day the Cellist decided to stuff his pants full of leaves...like he was a scarecrow...that's my son! All I can say is...I don't get it either.

I spent a week cleaning out the shed...I found mice droppings all over...and I mean all over (don't worry, I didn't take a picture of that) So I spent the next week dragging stuff out of the shed, buying new containers for the baby clothes, washing, drying, and bleaching everything else...including the crib. But now, it is very organized!

The Composer has been hard at work (going to school and working full-time) finishing his violin. It is really looking great, but every time he gets out the sandpaper, I just have to cringe. I have to admit, it does look pretty great!

We have also been up to everything ghoulish...like pumpkin carving...

School parties and parades

Visiting our grandma's school

Decorating the carport and of course Trick-or-Treating
