We had a Birthday at our house recently...the Musician turned 4. I can't believe my baby is 4! My kids love choosing their own birthday cakes and this year the musician chose a castle cake. Well, with a castle cake you have to have a princess party to go with it.
and also had a princess lunch with perfectly personal princess pizzas, perfectly pink princess punch, perfectly portioned princess parffeitts, topped off by pieces of castle cake.
but my favorite part of the whole party was the Waiter who volunteered for the job. The musician's older brother (the cellist) was our Waiter/butler during the party. He dressed up in his suit and had a dish cloth draped over his arms so he could clean up any spills the girls made (and they made plenty with their tea-set). Unfortunately he would not let me take his picture because he knew I would blab on my blog...smart boy.
