Jesus Over Justice

Today my girls were playing school, as children often like to do. My oldest daughter, the Violinist (who is actually now a pianist) was the teacher. She decided to lead her school children in the Pledge of Allegiance. While she was reciting the pledge she made the following mistake:

"With liberty and Jesus for all!"

I of course chuckled and corrected her, but as my smile faded and I thought a little more about what she said...I realized...she is exactly right. Jesus DID die for everyone to satisfy the demands of Justice...Jesus does override Justice!

So this Christmas season as we contemplate the Christ child. Let's remember not just that He was a babe, but that he was the Savior!
