Grocery Bill !!!
Well, checking the receipt finally paid off! It saved me a lot of money this morning. As the chashier was ringing me up I noticed the total was a little too large...and I am understating. When they say food prices are going up, they aren't kidding...you want to know how much they wanted to charge me for a five pound bag of carrots...16,199.40...YES, YOU ARE READING IT RIGHT! SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS! Well, that is a little out of our food budget for the month! Granted, it was six o'clock in the morning, so this time I'll let it slide. So, keep looking at your receipts girls. You never know when it will save you a few thousand dollars!

Holy Cow!!!! Aren't these things automated these days???? What did the cashier say when you pointed out the mistake??? I would have loved to have been there!
She was sort of in a daze about the whole thing...it was 6:00 in the morning. What she did was put me down for 4000 lbs. So if you ever want to know how much 4000 lbs. of carrots is...it's $16,000
