Well, part of the week that was, was the wonderful Baptism of our first born...The Cellist. It was a wonderful occasion. We had to get permission to have it on a special day, but because we had waited so long (because of schedules) and because of our continually hectic schedules...mostly the Composers hectic schedule, we were cleared to have it on a special day...so we thought why not have it on a special day with some numerology connected to it!(By the way, I'm sorry about the seriously long run-on sentence) Other than the obviously awesome numbers lining up right...it was amazing. Both of the Cellist's Grandfathers gave talks and his Grandmothers prayed. The Cellist himself gave a wonderful performance on...the cello of course. He was a little confused when he stood up to bow and no one clapped. I didn't mention that we don't clap in church, I just thought he would notice after his EIGHT YEARS OF ATTENDANCE! But the most wonderful of all was the baptism and confirmation, performed by his own father...the love of my life. I don't know how to explain it but, it is moments like that that bind people stronger to your heart.
On a side note...there is yet another picture which does not have my face in it...no one offered to take one with me in it...maybe because they have all seen my blog and have noticed how truly photogenically impaired I am. So thanks a lot all of you judgmental people! But I have to admit, those boys are sharp.

Congrats Thayne! So sorry we couldn't make it. I had such a stressful week I lost 5 pounds and got sores in my mouth! I hope you understand.
Of course...I told D it was his prime responsibility to take care of you...and I hope you know I mean it. We all have our days...and it sounds like you had a week of those days! YIKES! Take care. I hope you're feeling better.
It was an amazing baptism. One of the most spiritual that I have ever attended. I especially liked the "firsts" talk. The basic points of it were that we have some very important first lessons we learn in life. The first law of heaven is Obedience. The first commandment is Love. The first prinicple is Faith. And the first ordinance is Baptism. It was so insightful that we have talked about it since. THANKS for inviting us!
