I got the kids school pictures the other day and I was filled with happiness and sadness at the same time. It is so wonderful to see your children grow and learn and at the same time sad to see them get farther and farther from home. Am I just going crazy, or does anyone else feel this way?

If they don't get further away, they can't ever get back. Just keep teaching them well and be hopeful. You are a great mom!
Thanks for the eternal perspective. I do try to savor the moment. I really never understood why my parents thought time was going so fast, but now that I'm here, I see I have to live every moment to its fullest.
